BARBELL CLASS OVERVIEW

The Barbell Class at CrossFit Delirium is an hour dedicated to form, technique, and strength building.  The primary focus is on the Olympic lifts. This includes heavy work the snatch lift and clean lift. 

More of a purist class, we focus on the proper way to lift versus the fastest way to complete a CrossFit Workout of the Day (WOD). We also have days where we focus on other barbell movements such as:

  • Deadlifts
  • Benchpress
  • Shoulder Press
  • Squats

Overall, the aim of CrossFit is to forge a broad, general and inclusive fitness supported by measurable, observable and repeatable results. The program prepares trainees for any physical contingency—not only for the unknown but for the unknowable, too. Our specialty is not specializing.
